NMC’s DOT Placards meet DOT requirements (DOT-HM181) DOT placards must contain the proper combination of hazardous classification, division and identification numbers per DOT placard specifications. Choose your placard from NMC's standard, permanent 4–digit or alternate blank placard styles in either pressure sensitive vinyl or rigid plastic. Permanent 4–digit placards are designed specifically for vehicles dedicated to the repeat transportation of a single material. Placard printed with the combination of hazard class, hazard division, 4–digit UN identification number. Alternate blank placards are designed specifically for numbering portable tanks, cargo tanks and tank cars.

For an interchangeable placard, select one of NMC’s flip placard styles. As the hazardous contents of the container changes, so can your placard. With a simple flip of a file, you can interchange between legends with ease. Made from a rust–proof aluminum these placards securely stay in place with stainless steel reinforced clips.
